Someone needs to PM koalabear and ask him about this. 2.1 is probably not 6.4 MB and if he could txt, he could download 6.4 MB in ~1 minute. Sounds troll-y to me. I can see getting VZ in Canada, but an update while roaming sounds off.
 
If that is your mindset, I cordially invite you to leave Android Forums and catch your all-important flight. And don't bother returning.
