Ah, the old throwing darts at a long list of phone numbers method. That sounds about right.

Can anyone with the OTA confirm if the Cell Standby - Time without Signal - 50% bug has been fixed?

To check, go to Settings -> Battery -> Battery Use and click on Cell Standby

I'm on 2.1 v3 and it suddenly came back to my phone over the last few days.

Compare your information with the update, it's the same information as 2.1 V3

Does anyone if you have to follow the xda link, with ota leak? Cause I dont know anything about any of the stuff he's talking about.

I know... I'm just curious to see if there is a difference in the install process. Being that the OTA is only 77MB and isn't a clean install - rather an upgrade over the 1.5 system and since the 50% bug wasn't present in 1.5 (as far as I know)...

My PRL is also different... same as yours - 51866

Could this be the culprit? Who knows...

I just did a *228 and the PRL stayed the same....I have no idea...I am sure one of the dev's here will figure it out....

The Eris is missing from the HTC support site. Not listed or under the image selection.

Not sure what you were referring to, or if this was some attempt to cause controversy, but Eris is most definitely on the HTC support site. And even if the Eris was no longer being sold, the support would remain for a long time after it was discontinued.

i think they are trying to figure out the url the phone is going to so they can go there on a computer and get the update file so they can start working on rooting it.

I would be happy to do that, but they will need to provide something a little less techy in the way of instructions. That is complete greek to me.

So has anyone with a leaked version received the OTA yet? I have the second leak version. No OTA yet. I live in CT but I am currently in FL
