Problem-
If I try to add or edit my contact's birthday in Contact app and click save. The date is saved with incorrect value and its not same as what I entered.
I had the same problem after upgrading and found that my phone wasn't sleeping. The folks over at the HTC Incredible forum figured out that, at least for a few of us, Facebook for HTC Sense was keeping the phone awake 100% of the time. Signed out of Facebook for HTC Sense under Accounts & Sync and my phone is once again sleeping and the battery life is much improved.
Hope this helps.

Remove the battery and reseat it. It helped mine considerably today. Someone mentioned that was left out of the instructions. Also the new battery widget uses CPU power all the time I read. Did both and I am in between 70-80%, and have been off charger for 8.5 hours now.
At 70-80% and off the charger for 8 hours? Have you even used the phone at all? This just doesn't seem realistic, unless you lightly/light-moderately use your phone.
Anybody else getting worse battery life with 2.1 than with 1.5? I set all my settings exactly as they were when I was running 1.5, however, battery life is significantly less impressive.....
settings, about phone, battery and scroll down to the bottom.
this problem is annoying the hell out of me.
I removed the Facebook for HTC Sense account. This seems to have helped with the dialer lag. And sped the phone up overall. You might want to try it as well.
How do you do that? Do you mean just uninstall the Facebook app? I don't know what "Facebook for HTC Sense account" is. Thanks.
I don't know if one of my settings is wrong but every time I make a phone call, I dial the number, put the phone to my ear and just before I hear the first ring, the phone vibrates one time and then starts ringing. I have vibrate on for incoming calls but this shouldn't have any effect on outgoing calls.
New Feature? WOW!That is a new "feature" in 2.1. I don't believe there is a way to turn it off.

This is really pissing me off right now. Before the 2.1 update, my laptop recognized my phone and HTC sync connected to my phone. After the update, my laptop won't even recognize that something is connected to it. I connect my zune to the same usb that I connect my phone to, and have tried the others on my laptop too, but it just doesn't recognize the phone. It charges the phone, but nothing else. I have gone to setting>connect to pc>default connection type>HTC sync and I have also tried disk drive, but it just charges. Does anyone have this same problem? I'm running Windows 7 64-bit.
I'm finding a minor annoyance with contacts that also have a Facebook link.
Regardless of how many times I manually set a contact's photo to something different, it will always change back to their Facebook photo after a certain amount of time.
Annoying, as there are some friends of mine with Facebook photos I don't care to see on a frequent basis.
Not sure if anyone has mentioned this but I didn't see any indications on the first page.
I'm having various problems, some significant and hugely problematic, others I don't care to worry about until a bug fix is released.
Significant problems:
1. signal - 1.5 in the chicagoland area I had pretty much 4 or more bars everywhere, indoors and out. with 2.1 It fluctuates every couple of minutes from full bars down to one bar and even no signal. Much more of a problem while opening/updating apps, and surfing the web.
2. Inconsistent EV-DO internet. strangely some websites just don't work. For example, I cannot open Tom's Hardware: Hardware News, Tests and Reviews... AT ALL... it loads 70% and stops.
Also, it only works in certain "hot" spots. At work with 1.5 I used it everywhere with no problems, even inside elevators. Now I sit in the break room, and depending on which seat I am in, either I will have internet, have slow internet, or have no internet. (seating being like normal 4 seat lunch tables)
*** Twice I got some sort of a network connection error where for about 6 hrs each time I was not receiving any text messages, internet connection, app functionality or anything else that a phone like this should provide (only thing that worked was basic outgoing phone calls, not sure about incoming maybe I just didn't receive any)... Only fix was to shut down the phone and turn it back on.
3. Battery life - it was never that great to begin with. Now it's worse, much worse. (I think it's attributed to the problems listed above. I speculate my phone is constantly searching for a steady signal for phone calls as well as EVDO and it's killing the battery)
(I however have not had any problems with apps such as sprint navigation, and maps)
question: How long do you think it will take for a sprint OTA bug fix?? Is it possible to revert back to version 1.5 in the meantime??? I mean this phone is completely useless to me if I can't send texts and use the web functionality when I need it!!!
