Help 2.1 update (problem i've never seen anyone else talk about) please help

Ok so I attempt to update my phone everyday but I get the same message every single time (there is no update available). So I decided to post here on these forums. I run 1.5 (the original update data when phone was released). And I really don't want to call Sprint because customer service is hard to deal with. I can't update through pc because I have a mac. Please list any solutins that work.

Take it to a Sprint service store and they will update to 2.1 for you;)

I think the whole update ony takes about 30 min. However, the Sprint store near me always tells me to come back in an hour, regardless of what they are doing for me. LOL

Remember that you will loose all data (texts, email setups, etc), and apps on the phone, but contacts will be retained if they are "Google" contacts. All data on the SD card shold be fine. You can re-download apps from th market afterthe update.

Like Andy said, finding a Windows PC might be a good solution.
