2.1 Update Thread

i have a feeling it will be mid november to mid december, SE are a complete failure at releasing anything on time, they are the perfect text book example of how to fail your customers
 
just passed on xda thread about 2.1 and already 449 pages (when i last checked) OMFG

the thread grew up 200 more page than when i checked earlier (thursday)
 
and another ambiguous tweet.. at least they are updating us i suppose..

"Hi everyone, we know you are all waiting for your update. Things are moving fast here, we will have news very soon. Please bear with us."
 
Yeah - things are moving that fast they been saying the same thing for nearly a week - would hate to see them move slow lol

but hey - always said - it will come

well i'm on the generic firmware and unlocked so i should get it as soon as it's released but i'm not holding my breath for SE to deliver ... i wish i could be proven wrong :)
 
OK so so far we have

CUBZ - Friday
ALLBUTLOST - Friday
SLUGPACE - Sunday (evening)
DIBBERLY - Monday
ACIDSENTANCE - Tuesday
MRWOMBLE (me) - Wednesday
UCHI - Never (think thats a loss there)

Who is gonna be right mmmmmm will we get it today - i think not, my phone is not playing ball

Will we get it over the weekend - well traditionally never seen an update released on a Saturday or Sunday

So is DIBBERLY gonna score with a Monday prediction - quite possibly, but that would push SE into NOVEMBER when they categorically promised OCTOBER

oh the suspense!!!

Can't take it anymore, off to watch Harry Potter on sky movies lol

look wombly, the way i see it, if im pessimistic about it, i wont be let down when it does finally arrive. that way theres no let down, no drama, nothing. its like being set up on a blind date, you assume shes a fat chick and when she isnt you get that feeling of satisfaction and relief. im basing my never on those same assumptions :D
 
What about the classy broad you were sitting opposite last night in that speak easy run by Profile7, she was fine until her 4th double V&T!

holy crap, on a side note, we had an after party here last night, im in the can right now and i hear people talking in my living room. haha. didnt know anyone forgot to go home.
 
CuBz i have a simple question maybe some ppl already asked abt this but i want to make myself clear. my phone model info is phone: x1oi country: united kingdom brand: customized.
so the question is it my phone is uk generic? i bought my phone in russia.

so is the x10a getting the upgrade today as well? I have a Rogers branded x10a in canada, thinking about debranding because Rogers is ******ed and can not give me ANY info on an update whatsoever.
 
Thanks to too many damn threads on the update, I have NO CLUE where to put this (this is ridiculous guys), so I'm just going to cross-post it.

I found this in the Comments section of the Sony Product Blog, someone claiming to know a slightly more detailed time-table; the only problem? No indications on how he knows this information, so it could all be bogus. But I figured I'd post it "just in case":

timetable:
UK – tomorrow noon
Germany – Monday
France and Benelux – Tuesday morning
Spain, Portugal – Tuesday evening
Italy, Greece – Wednesday
Russia – Thursday
Eastern Europe – Friday, except Poland (because of the NK application incompatibility, which is investigated now)
The rollout to other regions should finish before Nov 15
