Root 2.2 Froyo Overclocking

I recently did froyo 2.2 and I was wondering because some guy put up a video saying he overclocked to 691mhz but didnt show how. There was also things about overclocking to 700mhz+ in 2.3 but I need to know if that is true and how can I do it.

cm7 is already have an OC Kernel thats clock @ 710, try it you will like it.
 
Im new to the android rooting and stuff but isnt that unstable right now with the fact that you cant usb mount and carrier service.

usb is working, only thing that needs to be fix is MMS, and i didnt have to change nothing and my service work.

have you tried the camera? mine can't connect.

and 2.2froyo can't actually oc. you can use cpuboost to set it to oc but it doesn't really do anything but make you think your oc'ed

yeah, but it started making the phone lag a bit, but took a pic and it saved...
