Root 2.2 music player

[chrlswltrs]

Has anyone figured out a work around for the music player in 2.2 not playing mp3? Maybe a working apk that we can install? I can't even use my custom ringtones until my phone can play mp3s, really annoying!

My wife's works fine too, but I can't pull her apk because she doesn't want her phone rooted. I have seen a lot if people in here having this problem.

For everyone else having this problem, I had mediasync 1.0.0 frozen with titanium. I defrosted that and everything is working again.

Mines busted as is youtube but my battery is so good I don't want it to return to the way it was.

Have you removed or frozen any apps? I found the solution to mine, just read up a few posts.

i didn't freeze any apps (at least not to the best of my knowledge) and my music won't play, but then again i didn't have any market trouble. please fix music!
