Root 2.3.3 Gingerbread Issues Thread

Not that there will be any (I'm still downloading mine) but I figured we should try to keep all issues people find with the new gingerbread in one thread
SO... POST EM UP
What problems are you running into with Gingerbread (Android 2.3.3)

I'm actually having an issue with my "home" key...it will function as normal for a little bit, and then stop working...for example, if im in an app and want to get back to my home screen clicking home will do nothing...i have to back out using the "back" button...

the home button WILL wake the phone, and if i long press it will bring up the "multitask menu"

Personally, I've noticed that the bottom of my phone (not the battery but the area near the microphones) is feeling VERY hot. Hotter than I've ever felt my phone feel, including when I was overclocked.

I've also noticed the lighting on the four "Hard Buttons" on the bottom seems to be different somehow. I can't put my finger on it, but the button backlights appear more intense somehow. Maybe this is related to my heat issues?

Edit: Heat seems to have dissipated for now...

Don't know if I should have posted in here but I posted a new thread about my install aborting each time after downloading from multiple mirrors.

Does anyone know how to remove the "sync" looking icon from the notification bar? I turned off notification for Media Share but it's still there =/.

im pretty sure it will be the same icon for all different sync operations...your contacts could be getting backed up or something...

- I HATE the color scheme they chose. I can't wait for a stock GB theme when we get root.

- Where's the TV-screen-off animation?

- I don't see a way to 'link' contacts to other accounts anymore.

My phone is not displaying the correct time in the notification bar. It'shows the correct time on the lock screen but on the notification bar its reads 4:35 lol

Downloaded three things from the market, and now everything else sticks at 'starting to download'

**Rebooted, and same thing. Canceled each one and started over, and now it works.

Annoyances so far:

1. LauncherPro doesn't seem to work well with this build. "Screen previews" (from Sense) is extremely laggy. The screen scrolling itself is super smooth until I pinch for screen previews, and then LPP becomes much less responsive for a while. The only fix I have so far is to put LauncherPro memory usage settings at "very light". The more memory it uses, the worse the previews lag is.

2. Lockscreen lag. It should vibrate twice--once when I touch the left side, and again when the screen unlocks. Sometimes the vibration is delayed, other times the actual left-right animation is delayed.

Is anyone else experiencing these issues?

Edit: It seems that number 1 and 2 might be the same problem. When LPP has "high" memory usage (homescreen caches + set to "normal") the lockscreen doesn't lag. Yet when I set LPP memory to "low" the lockscreen lags.

Weird.

I have the same problem with it and any new build, no emediate root access. This is why I'm still waiting, how ever the file was downloaded from TBH the moment P3 posted it on twitter.

I'm actually quite anxious to try it out, but I use wireless tether to much and cant justify not having it.

There's no TV screen off?
**** you moto. I was really looking forward to that.

This is the main reason I installed it, haha. That, and I could have sworn that I read that Gingerbread wouldn't be skinned. I really liked having the black/green theme on my stock 2.2.1 DX... I wish I could get it back AND have my TV-off!

It's a nice option to have, but I don't think it's anywhere near a deal breaker.
