Damn really? I heard about the yellowish tint that's why I decided not to update. Hopefully they fix it before sending it out to everyone.

I just upgraded manually and the yellow-tinted screen was the first thing that I noticed. It's most apparent on dark (but not pure black) backgrounds. I actually prefer it over the pale-blue tinted screen before the upgrade but they kind of overdid it a little.

The first thing I noticed was the background wallpaper looked washed out. Not as vibrant as before. Then I thought i was crazy, I asked the girlfriend, and she was unsure. Hmmm this really makes me wonder.

I tried to downgrade back to 2.3.2 the same way i manually upgraded to 2.3.3, however it tries and then says process aborted. Is there some secret to get this to work?

Running CM 7 on 2.3.2 and have never had the random reboot. I think it is a hardware related issue personally. Maybe a bad batch of phones went out. As for Facebook, Google just wanted them using their APIs instead of getting preferential treatment. Also, Google went on record as saying that the new tinting is actually the correct colors for the screen.

how does a person go back to 2.3.2 ? It doesn't appear to want to downgrade the Rom, only upgrade. :(

You would probably need to flash a full system dump of 2.3.2, which would more than likely require you to root your phone and install a custom recovery image first.

Well, this sucks. I don't like this new look at all. I think they are shooting for more battery life by toning down the brightness. What the hell are they thinking????

I still haven't got the OTA. I believe the Nexus One update is rolling out now too.

Maybe I'll have to pull my finger out and manually update it, especially for the reboot fix. Can anyone confirm this is fixed?

I just got the OTA yesterday and decided to update it. Yeah, the yellowish color is a little annoying but if it does improve the battery life I can get used to it.

Do we get presented with the choice to upgrade to 2.3.3 OTA? I wont be ugrading unless i have to.

Yes, you can ignore it. If you then want the OTA go to Setting>About Phone>System Updates and you should be good to go when you want.

I'm liking the update so far ;)

The phone seems faster.
I quite like the new colours. Easy on the eye and makes SAMOLED less over saturated in my opinion.
I've been hammering the home button and haven't have a lock out once.

I just need to check the GPS tomorrow...

What does it depend on when one gets the OTA? What regions are you, who already received the OTA, from? I'm from SwitZerland and have the NS from the UK. Do I have to wait longer because the NS isn't officially available in Switzerland, yet?

Another question is, why can't anybody get the update immediatly over settings-software update? The phone should just connect to a server and check if there's a new firmware available and if so just download and install it..

It looks like 2.3.3 has solved the problem of ramdom reboot. I used to get this at least once a day, but this update seems to have corrected that problem. Regarding the color, I don't see what the issue is. All my pictures and videos seem fine. I have no problem with that. I also noticed that battery staying power has increased since the update. After using my phone for 12 hrs with few phone calls, playing angry bird and other games few times, and also playing video for about 30 minutes. I still had 50% power. Previously, it would be around 25%.

The home button is definitely better. I have only managed to lock it out once as opposed to 50% of its use.
