LOL, you got me there mate: wouldn't have the faintest idea how to attach them (or even how to take them - would I just point and click or would I need to faff about with settings?) I'm happy to help if I can...but probably be the weekend before I could give it a go if that's ok.

My wifes Nexus S is on 2.3.2, mine is on 2.3.1 both phones say they are up-to-date when I go to about 'about phone.' Whats up with this?

It just means you haven't gotten them yet. Manually update them, that's what I had to do.

It's funny that you (and many others) describe it as yellow. I'd describe the 2.3.2 display colors as red/purple. I think the 2.3.3 colors are more accurate, though it does seem to have an affect on the contrast for some reason.

I liked x.2's darker colors, but like x.3's truer color scheme. Unfortunately, that means Samsung messed up the contrast in the process. Either way, there's positives for both. I think it comes down to user preference. For me, I don't like the contrast change, but love having whites look white!

Agreed: it's gone bright yellow. And I can see what you mean, quantum, when you say 2.3.3 looks red/purple in that vid, but somehow it doen't quite work out like that in the flesh. What IS noticable is the washed out feel of the new one. I think the side-by-side shots of the nexus live (first shot) get it across better than other ones. And I do actually think that the whites (like on the google bar or just in the messages pages) look like they have a yellowish tinge.

In the most basic terms, the screen doesn't look rubbish, just "normal". Before, it was a stand-out "wow" feature of the phone (which is what all the reviews used to rave about - don't know if they can do that now).

Keep in mind that that first shot is of two different phones, the Nexus S on the right, and I believe a Nexus One on the left.
