Well, which one of us wants to clear data (factory reset) and see if the update is there after that.

I do have a Titanium backup, so it wouldn't be the worst thing to do so, but I'd really rather not. Titanium restoring apps is good, restoring system data, that's a crapshoot sometimes. I'd really rather not have to rebuild my home screens, ringers, BT, wifi, etc. if I don't have to.
Hey Lex. I called today about changing my phone number and when the VZW tech had completed the change, he had me run the *228 option 1 to activate. It auto-booted my phone and as it started up I saw the little open box with the arrow, as if it was applying an update... so I got a little excited. Only to find that it did a factory reset on my phone.
I'm on stock 2.3.15, rooted and deodexed for themeing. I'm getting the "your system is up to date" message like a lot of people.
