if youre on the esteem probably not. you can spoof versions with build.prop edits though. latest known kernel i know of is probably speed unleashed 1.3

Because we do not have that update , a developer is working on it but you cannot make calls get data or text

Its not an issue. Someone is working on building cm10 which is essentially the same thing as in that video.

No and no. I am working on CM10 for the esteem but it still has alot of work it needs b4 its even usable. CM7, couldnt get RIL working, so it had no calls/text/data. CM9 was just a beetch and was abandoned.

No current solution for what you want other than run a ROM themed to look like ics or jellybean.
