Root 2.3 ???????????

is there any one running froyo 2.3 and if so how do you like it and does it preform will....there are a couple of capabilities I hered it has and I would like to have I am thinking about upgrading,,,,,, and last can your provide a down load link if you recommend it .
 
Any gingerbread roms that are out there are aosp with no sense added to it. You can get most of them in ref#2 of my sig. Check out kings gingerbread rom, cm7, and everevolve. I'm really a sense guy, but I'm really liking king's gingerbread rom. It is pretty zippy. Check it out.
 
I have become a AOSP guy myself. I am running CM7 RC2 right now and have no real issues with it even though it isn't a final release. Destroyer and Kings I believe are both based on CM7 just with more theming done to them. Most of the Gingerbread 2.3 roms are still in the development stage and might have issues with 4g and Hmdi, but they are being worked on.
 
You'll probably not see sense on 2.3, until htc releases a device with it, or upgrades an existing phone. Not that the Dev's can't do it, but it's much easier and the final product is better. Imo. :)

I could be wrong, sure as hell won't be the first or last time. ;)

Evo 3d is supposed to be released this summer(probably June like the Evo was) loaded with 2.3 so we might get sense roms based on that around then

Sweet! I timed my upgrade perfect then. Development will be well established by the time I get one. :D GB and sense 2.0, it'll be lethal! :eek:

Yep, my next upgrade comes in October so they should be well on the way to having it rooted and lots of new stuff to play with :D
