Signed up for it earlier lekky after I saw the offer on PocketLint but thanks for the heads up. Getting all that content for free is a lovely little extra for my Tab. :)
 
theres me hoping i could get this stuff on my Galaxy S...obviously not!
 
games codes working, whsmith within 10 days, not tried the mp3 but samsung movies says the code is invalid, shame 15 free movies would have been cool
 
Movie voucher code worked fine for me, I put 8 movies in my basket and it deducted the correct amount, leaving me with a balance of around 90quid. I was able to download 5 of the movies okay, but kept getting problems with the others due to dropped connections, then the server kept throwing up errors. It may be that they are having problems with demand?
 
yep got the code working tonite, dark knight downloading now

worth adding dont forget to download the tab version from options on payment page......the voucher option is just off the tab screen, just need to scroll down and tick box

I got 2001:Space Odyssey & Blazing Saddles downloaded last night, but still am getting no luck with Watchmen. I can't get more than about 500Mb downloaded before the server times out. It's driving me nuts!

I left the Watchmen download to my PC running this morning, it just had another 400Mb to go so fingers crossed that is okay when I get home.

Oddly though, The Godfather downloaded on first attempt - I was just peeved that all the voices are dubbed into Italian! Glad I didn't pay real money for it.

I must say, if these freebies are a taster to get us to use the movies service with genuine money, they'd better get their act together sharpish, as I won't risk spending cash on something so unreliable.
 
My WHSmith voucher code arrived last night, didn't take long to use up 25quid worth of books. Annoyingly, on the Tab, I had to buy each book separately, couldn't just pile them into the shopping basket and do one checkout.
 
free stuff is costing me time now, samsung movies will not download on tab or pc, tried the whsmith tonite, needs a sim to access samsung ap store, wifi only tab,
 
The Movies download is a bit of a nightmare; took me almost a week to get Watchmen, and I now can't get No Country For Old Men, though three other films downloaded first time! It's very annoying, and not the way to go about advertising your service.

Obviously it's a promo, but I'm quite happy with all this bonus stuff I wasn't expecting, even if it is a bit of hassle.

If you think it's gonna be easier over in Apple land, brace yourself .....
 
I bought my galaxy tab in the UK but I live in Sweden. The problem being that I can register for this promotion but when trying to use the samsung apps it says "sorry, for UK residents only". Is there some way to make em think I'm using the tab in the UK even tho I'm not actually in the UK?

I got a tablet for Christmas and have been trying to download and watch films ever since. The whole affair is a right balls-up!

The website is tempremental and has borken (help and contact page) links, some films come up with errors when you try and download them, others are different sizes to advetised when you buy them, several are falsely advertised as they are not availbale in mobile and PC format and lastly... you cannot play them on your tablet as the films come up with "License Acquisition Failed"

I haven't tried the eBooks or music yet but have given up with the films as the 7 that I have downloaded so far I cannot play!
