3.7" > 4.x" ?

I am a woman and will be looking at a larger version of the DI when it's time to upgrade. Don't get me wrong... I LOVE my Incredible and everything about it! However, I carry a purse that has room enough for the kitchen sink and, even though I have my phone in a smaller pocket in my purse, I would love something that was big enough that it didn't slide to the bottom. Also, my son has the Motorola Droid and his feels so much more substantial than my little DI. I prefer NOT to put my Body Glove case on my phone because it's so much easier to wipe the fingerprints off it, but it just doesn't feel solid w/o the case on. I'm scared to death my cat might knock it off the table and it would break into a jillion pieces!

Anyway, back to the point, I most definitely will be looking for a slightly larger phone when the time comes. I wouldn't if I kept my DI in my pocket, so I completely understand what you guys are talking about though. A larger phone wouldn't work for my husband either. But for us gals with mongo purses, bigger is better.

Oh, one more thing... I will NEVER switch to AT&T or Sprint, etc. just because I like one of their phones. I've been a Verizon customer for almost 20 years and will stay with them no matter what. Verizon has cell service in remote places here in Oregon that the others only dream about, so my future larger screened phone will have to come from Verizon.

No argument here. If I was still in college, and wearing a backpack daily, maybe (MAYBE!) I wouldn't mind a larger phone. Unfortunately, fanny packs have gone out of style and (wait for it...) there isn't a chance I'd be caught with a hip clip (no matter how many phones they give me). I'll stick very happily with my Inc.

I am not afraid of saying that i have a holster that i use on my side. And I dont really care what anybody thinks. Its more secure there then in a pocket with keys, pens, sand, dirt and anything else that could get into my pockets at work.

I think most people in the Army carry their phones on their hips anyways.

And I think 4.x >>> 3.7 anyday.

If the evo was on Verizon I would not hesitate to get it.

I love the Incredible but wished I had a bigger screen. I am not going to change out for Droid X or anything as I am content with the Incredible. Next phone will definitely have a larger screen though.

I really think the EVO looks fine. I just wouldn't want a screen that big because it's kinda bulky. Gimme something slightly in between and I'm happy.

your avatar picture is supposed to be the end result if you were to swim through one of the chemically "treated" globs of oil from the bp rig. i say we dip a evo in it and see what happens.
