My third week with the 3000 mAh batteries is much better now, just do several complete discharge/recharge cycles and it would get better. Went to work around 9:00 am and used the phone as a media player the whole day, did a little facebook, checked my mail, did a few calls and a few txt messages, and at around 7:00pm I still had 77%...

I did notice one battery will hold less charge and that it would be around 50% with the same usage as above. But any battery that will last the whole day will be fine with me. :)
Do you use Battery Status Pro? If so, at 100% what does the 3000mAh read for standby time?

Evoli.. Do you have an app like battery status pro on your phone that will tell you how much standby time the 3000mAh battery gives you at 100%. I would be very interested in knowing the rates it gives. its a free app from the market.

Ok after looking at battery times settings it allows you to choose the mah of the battery.. If you select HTC Evo it gives you less time( I guess assuming you have a 1500 htc battery installed even if you put a 3000mAh in, but if you select 'other' and manually put 3000 for the mah, it gives the times you have above assuming it is a correctly rated battery).

It seems as though this isn't a good way to rate true mah or time left on a battery.

Update....... Ordered 3000 mah for $ 11.27 on 08/17/2010 received on 08/28/2010 I'll report how good it is after a few days. If I can go a hole day without charging I will be happy.

I don't have any numbers to compare, but my 1500 mah battery went from about 80% to 20% after 2.5 hrs of internet and playing euchre. Swapped the stock battery for my 3000 mah one played about the same amount and my battery maybe dipped 20%. I voted yes buy it. I really don't care for the size of the battery but it's begrudgingly worth it. I'm going to install batterytime tomorrow and I have an external charger coming and I'll see how good the battery is. So far I'm very happy w/the purchase the only real bad thing was since the battery adds some weight it popped out of my car dock. This can be solved by using some tape for the back of the mount.

I would not put any faith in these battery programs there are too many variables. There just for fun.
I have a custom rom, over clock and custom kernel, I don’t want my phone to last all day, I want to get the most bang from my battery I easily get threw my work day without having my phone neutered (everything turned off), this phone is too much fun not to use it. So don’t worry about what the clock says, just find a balance you’re happy with.
Btw I let my grandparents video chat with my lil cousin who is in college (were a evo family)The look on their faces when they saw their granddaughter on the phone was priceless! It could have been a commercial!

Well I give up on worrying about my battery. I've done all the little tips and tricks and thought mine was getting better. Maybe it doesn't drain as fast if I charge externally but I always try to pull it off right when green then if it's down before I am ready to leave I top it off. But yesterday I turned on GPS for a couple minutes had BT on and was texting a bit and checking FB. Took around 5 or 6 pics and uploaded to FB but my battery was so low and then dead by after 4 or 5 hours it was pitiful. But I have 3 extra 1500's so I am just not worrying anymore. Sometimes it seems to last longer and last night it drained quick. And I read where some of you stream pandora for a few hours and watch videos and do more than what it seems like I did and your battery last much longer than mine. I keep auto sync and enable mobile data off. Background data I have checked. I keep wifi off unless at home or work. And bt when out or in car. GPS is on some. But I just think my battery really sucked last night. Now it was one of these ones that say TP2 that I bought off ebay for where I got 2 batteries and a charger for 10 bucks. But I think I should of had it last a few more hours than it did. But oh well. I give up on trying to figure out what was making it drain so quick. I took a few pics uploaded to FB but closed out the camera. I don't know but the 3000 MAH batteries sound nice. I don 't want another battery door though so my 4 1500 are good enough I guess.

got mine coming in the mail. guess i have to say goodbye to my thin phone

After a couple of days, you won't miss the "thin" phone feel. Specially after you go all day doing whatever you want with the phone and still have "juice" at the end of the day! :D

I've had a 3000 Yooboa battery and back for a week and love it. No more plugging in the phone up every time I get in the car or sit down in front of the computer.

heres the one i just ordered...kinda worried...i know that there's no way its actually the real reading on the battery but I'm sure it should be over 2000mah so that should be perfect...has anyone purchased this one or does anyone have further reviews on what they have experienced? The last time i got a bigger battery was for my Palm Pre..and it felt like it was going to burn a hole in my pocket at the end of the day lol .
