32 GB card

I don't know I'd trust a possibly defective card in my camera. You don't get a second shot at those pictures. I'd probably use it in an mp3 player since the music and vids reside on the computer.

Well I plan on it and if I can't use it on my phone, I have other devices I can use it in. If nothing else I can use i tin my camera and so on, so it will be no loss.

I picked up an 8gb for $16 and will just wait for the 32gb to come out. I was going to just get a 16 but since I don't plan on keeping it much past a week after the 32gb comes out I figured I'd just save my pennies.

Same here, I got a 8GB class 6 from Newegg for only $14 and it's great, Just not worth $50 right now for the 16GB class 6, even though I've got close to 7GB filled. Come on 32GB!

Has to be a micro sdhc.. but hc just stands for high capacity..
SD, mini SD and micro SD have a maximum capacity of 4 GB (using Byte Addressing).. Sector addressing (what is used in SDHC, miniSDHC, microSDHC) can support up to 2 TB theoretically....

I have to of the Transcend 8gb Class 6 and they both work well. I use one and my finace has one in her exclaim for music and pictures. She is a picture taker to say the least. I am waiting for facebook to tell her to stop uploading pics! And I am full to the brim on my card but will steadily wait for a 32gb card to save pennies too.

Class refers to transfer speeds, nothing more. Doesn't afffect compatibility. 1 & 2gb cards don't have the HC classification and work just fine. 4gb and up get the HC designation as spmepne mentioned for high capacity.

And to my knowledge, the sdhc standard is limited to 32gb. It's the upcoming sdxc that can go to 2tb. I could be wrong though.

And my class 2 16gb card for $34 has been working just fine for a few weeks now.

According to the standard.. SDHC is theoretically 2 TB

it's a shame I can't put a theoretical card into my device though You could run into people creating 64gb SDHC cards, but you just might run into the same kind of problem you saw with 4gb SD cards that weren't HC.
