Accessories 32gb MicroSD cards... Would you chance it?

I have found this Kingston 32 gig class 4 for sale on IOffer.com for $19.50. I'm thinking about purchasing it. I just want to know if the HTC Inspire will handle it.

Aww, what the heck, I think I'll go ahead and get two. My wife is getting the same phone as I am with her renewal. She could use the memory.

Sounds pretty good to me. Has anyone else seen a 32g for 19.50? Sounds like it is too good to be true. Did you order it?

Please be aware that this may be a fake 32 gb card. although at $19.90, if it isn't you only lose that amount as compared to quite a few others that have paid in the range of 60+ and got burned.

As much as I hate sending folks over to xda, there is a very good thread on these cards here.

At least in the picture of the product it shows that its assembled in Japan as opposed to Taiwan.
see this video.

Edit: another one from xda  but I must say it gives plenty of info and write/test speeds. very much recommended to read.

Ok got my 32g microSD card today. Got it off the same site as some others had reported, iOffer: A Place to Buy, Sell & Trade

It was exactly what the ad said and I can not be any happier. It is a Kingston 32g MicroSD Class 4 card. Checked it out on my computer before putting it in my phone. Had the full 32g available and was manufactured in Japan.

The only draw back I found was that it came from China which took almost a month to get here. But if it works great, as it has so far, it was well worth the $20 I spent, even with free shipping.

I got a Kingston 32GB about last month from online and put it into my SGS2. It transfers files just fine the first time around. You can read it. Put it into the computer, works fine too. Once you reboot the phone, some of the files will get corrupted and placed in the LOST.dir

The only reason I got it of the net was because I got to wait for a month if I want to get it off the shop since they don't stock here. So now I just pass it to another friend to be used in his video camera. He will let me know if it works out. I think its a fake, but even fakes works sometimes. I am just hoping it is something to do with the reading speed and that's why all the problems when using in the phone. After all, SD card is only read after the phones internal memory so that might play a role.

Now I got a 16GB sandisk from a store and so far don't have the same issue. So my advice, either buy from a physical store, or stick to a 16gb card, which seems to be more stable.

Cheers.
