Has anyone else used these eBay batteries.... I dont care if capacity is not 3500 but care more so that it wont bust my phone. I use seidio1700 but want this when I know I'm going out for an extended time an know I will be using gps a lot.

Best to just bite the bullet and get either the VZW 2150 or the Seidio 3500. I paid $63 for the 3500, but it last twice as long as my already good Seidio 1750. If you are a medium to heavy user and want something to get you through the day, the 2150 is a good bet. if you are a heavy user, the 3500 is a better bet.

The eBay batteries are a mine field of hit and miss good and bad luck. I found that out with a 2700 from eBay. Did great for about four days and then was no better than the stock battery after that.

they are usually not good and are not the real rating and some seem to stop working after a while... but 95 cents... why not right try your luck lol :)

If you have insurance on the phone (Asurion), I say go for it. Just dont tell them it was the battery lol.

I got 2X 2600mAh batteries + battery charger for $25 off eBay. I'm estimating they're really 2200mAh batteries, but for ~$10 ea, it's worth it. Plus it doesn't add a whole lot of bulk to the phone and I can get ~32 hours out of each charge.

So I say go for it :D They may not have the longevity of the OEM stuff, but they're still worth it!

I've had every battery you can get from genaric 1500 to 3500 and everything in between.

My Ebay battery (listed as a 3000mah) gets me about 3-4 more hrs then my Verizon 2150 ( but a lot of people didn't get luck and after a few weeks they started lasting justas long as stock, mine is still great)
But I fiqure if I'm going to have a fat phone I'm going to go all out so now I have a Seidio 3500 and it's fantastic . It will also fit the Verizion extended cover as long as you have a case on it as it doesn't close flush , but the Seidio back is much much much better has a better grip and feels better. I modified a Silicon Case to fit the seidio as it is diffrent shaped then the Verizon.

If you want an extended battery go for the Seidio3500 or buy my Verizon 2150 with back for $40shipped :)

Thanks Chi Town, do me a favor, PM me a reminder and if this battery craps out I'll make you an offer.

I will give a follow up to the battery, the company and everything when i get it. If it was a scam, I lost out on 95 cents and 10 bucks for shipping. Not a very good scam. Especially since its through paypal haha

Last Thursday i bought both a 1500 from bidallies and one of the 3500 batts with new back, from a Hong Kong seller for $9.99 shipped. I will definitely post my results with the 3500 after a few days use. I got my 1500 from bidallies today, so i am testing it now. Getting the back on was a tight fit, but no gaps.
I have had pretty good luck so far with ebay purchases from HK, but i read a lot of feedback before i buy.

Let's see if my link will work..

I too have the 1500 from bidallies and I have no problem getting the back on. It's identical to the OEM in terms of size. Or at least mine is.

Well, i have had the 3500 for a day now. Currently at 74%. I have not charged it since i got it. I really like the back. It fits well, and protects the camera lens. It is not as thick as i thought it would be, but it looks similar to the original.

how long from purchase to receiving it?

seven days from purchase to receipt. I am in the West, so stuff from HK gets here fairly quick.

An update on the battery. Full charge with NO bump charging will last two full days with more than moderate use. Mail and weather syncing, 3G on, no wifi, and screen brightness on full.

So far it is well worth the $10 i paid for it. I do not, however, believe it is a true 3500mah. I believe it is more like a 2600 to 3000mah.

I wanted to follow up on my experience with my 10 dollar battery. I live on the east coast so it took like 15 days for me to get, but I am extremely happy with the performance so far. I am a very heavy user and have only killed the battery once in a full day and I intentionally kept it awake playing games until I could kill it so I could get a perfect reading on Battery Left. Well worth the 10 bucks, and if it ever stops performing, I will probably just spend another 10 bucks and get a new one. I don't think I will ever have to go through 7 or 8 of these batteries through the life of the phone. (The Sedio and VZ one is pretty expensive)
