3500mah battery for hero

Although I did like the slim profile of the old cover, I am also used to having phones that lasted at least five days when fully charged. My phone just told me it is time to charge the battery, so at this point I've been running my phone for about 55 hours or so... once I've cycled it a few more times, I'll put it to heavier use and see how it goes. I'll let you all know in a week.
 
I bought one, not from Amazon..out of stock, and it works great. It has 2 lights one for the phone and one for the extra battery. The one for the extra batter is on and blinks even if a battery is not in the slot...annoying! The lights are bright.

I found this and may get it and let my wife have the other.

So any news on covers that fit it ?

I would really like to keep a Gel on the phone with a new battery, and as my phone seems to chew through the batteries at random speeds, I am looking a lot harder at one of the beast.

same battery as my tp2 and it lasted 60 hours on a single charge and I had push email every hour, weather checks every 15 minutes running stock 6.1 pandigro on with yahoo and AIM runining wifi was on half the time .. 60 hours.. was so nice. Did about 200-300 texts 3 hours on the phone

Thought I'd post an overdue update on my Mugen battery. Besides having the Mugen 3200ah battery, I'm also rooted, running Fresh 2.0d, and also using Power Manager. At this point, my battery life is showing 18%, and I've been off the charger for 56 hours - that's 2 days, and 8 hours!

I've been using my phone normally, checking emails, getting notices from Craigslist, searching the web, talked to a friend last night for almost an hour etc. I have the original battey and cover in my car as back-up. I've been waiting for the phone to go to the critical re-charge battery notice for the last four hours, but it's hanging in there...

The Power Manager program (which I bought) helps extend battery life as well. I'm not using any kind of task manager at this point, and am relying in Fresh 2.0d to manage my programs. It's nice not to have to worry about my phone dying before the day is over. I need to put in the original battery and let it run its course to see how many hours I can get out of it. Anyone else using large batteries, and how long are they lasting, and what OS are you using?
 
Just hooked my phone up to the charger after finally getting the connect charger now screen... total time before plugging in the cord was 2 days, and 13 hours! Bluetooth and WiFi were on most of the time, and I wasn't trying to make it last as long as possible.
