Root 3G Data

Since ive been using metamorph to install zips from xda developers it seems as if it caused my 3G data to go out, im not sure if thats the reason or not but if there is anyone that can tell me what causes 3g data to go out it would very helpful, Thanx in advance.

P.S im using cricket service.

What you mean, go's out? Does you're internet runs slow or you can't go online?
 
I have the latest rom Bobz07082011 and every now and then the 3G data icon keep dissapearing, can anyone help me? i was gonna go to a cricket store and B****h somebody out cuz this is ridiculous and it has happened on more than one occasion, but before i do is there something that im doing wrong?

prolly just bad reception. Have you tried dialing *228 option 2 and updating the prl?
 
Download the app CARRIER COVERAGE.It will help determine if it's a signal/coverage issue in your area.

I'm also w/CRICKET & signal strength varies depending on location,volume of traffic @ any particular time,& if you've already hit the 1GB/MO. of 3G usage in your billing cycle.

Also w/CRICKET,dialing *228 is all you do,it's automatic,just listen @ stay on the line until the reset is done,usually only a minute tops.If you're still having 3G issues,dial 611 & customer service will help you out,just be patient & explain what's going on w/your phone.
 
It automatically started to work, but I'm gonna downlaod that app kolio and thanks playfulgod for responding to my ?...
 
My ascend on metro never showed 3g icon all these months until i drove to dallas, tx the other day and showed 3g icon the whole time i was in dallas until i went back to mckinney area. Im guessing its just if the cell towers in your area or something support 3g or not
