3G down on Droid???

Okay I work at 4am, so I noticed this early on. I have a buddy at work with an Eris who had 3g, so my ass resets to default.

Anyway, 3g was down in cleveland from atleast 4am to about 8:30-9am.

Rebooted my phone for the fun of it after a few hours of no 3G and trying everything else suggested, etc.. and I have 3G back.

:)

Just fine since 7:30 here in Washington, DC. I thought it was out for a few minutes around 8am, but I was in the metro tunnel and service can get a little spotty. When I got in to work, all was fine. (Didn't bother to check when I surfaced since I only had a block and a half to get to the office.)

In and out of 3G here in Peoria...getting to be annoying since e-mail arrive in batches. /sigh

Guess I'll be going to the IPhone now. PSYCH!! ;)

Moral of the story is a Verizon outage makes the news while an AT&T outage is so commonplace that its not news anymore.

3G running at full strength here in Philadelphia. I have only owned this phone for a few days and I am still in awe of how fast Verizons 3G Rev A speed is. Most of the download speed tests I have run have blown me away!

I was getting nothing in Cincinnati and just restarted the phone. It's now up. It may have just been a coincidence but I now have 3G back.

This is pretty much what happened to me in NY.

Saw weird lack of 3G, rebooted, 3G came back, thought nothing of it.

You guys do know that 2.1 has also been leaked for the droid i dont know the link but if you google you will find lol

It has been for a while now. The infamous Pete has released videos of it and they were posted here. I attribute it to the hamster that powers the network going on strike to protest Moto's locking of the Milestone as a gesture of support to our Canadian brothers and sisters.

We never lost 3g in Coyne Center Illinois. Small town of 200 out in the country LOL. I did go into the city. Moline Illinois. Davenport Iowa. And all was good. I do t think it was nation wide. I this k it was just random areas.

I dunno . . .
Perhaps Verizon had to do something to prepare for the HUGE task of pushing the 2.1 update to over a million phones. ;)

Was intermittent after my conversion to 2.1. Seems to be working fine now in Houston TX. No problems in the last 3 hours or so.
