Root 3g issue.

Alright. Sold some guy my EVO 4G here on base, kept it rooted with cm7, had no issues prior to.

Now all of a sudden, no matter what ROM we try, 3g will refuse to connect. On sense roms its saying data call failure, and enabling the 3g radio is greyed out, like its trying to work.... 4G is fine. Gps fine, etc.

What do?

have you updated the prl and profile? maybe try the 3g speed fix.

You know, I've been having that issue lately (on and off since last month)

Must be problems with sprint's lines somewhere.

I had the same exact issue when updating prl/profile. For whatever reason it didn't complete so I had to cancel it, but since then 3g would not connect....4g was fine but not 3g. I eventually just called Sprint and they fixed it over the phone.

Just make sure you're on a Sense based ROM when you call them because they'll require you to enter you MSL, etc...
