The top of XDA site says to delete cache, is this part of the scripts? So far I've only tried the 3g patch. Where else do clear cache besides in cwm?

I believe that is what they mean. Boot into Recovery>select wipe cache partition> then reboot. The top of XDA site says to delete cache, is this part of the scripts? So far I've only tried the 3g patch. Where else do clear cache besides in cwm?
I guess I need to create a widget to run this script (under /data) everytime after a powerup, correct?
Was wondering after the ZVC Update if I need to redo these scripts?no, its automatic. only the first scripts needed that
Yes you do
BioChron, following your steps above doesn't autorun the KAK script on bootup. I double checked /data/unit.rc and it only has the supercharge script at the end. No problem I just edit /data/init.rc and add a line to run the KAK script. Everything running smooth now. Not sure but zvc is giving me low benchmark scores than zv9
Well These were the instructions given to me.. Which would mean mine also does not autorun on boot. How do I know if any of them do? I went into root explorer/data and do not see "unit.rc", however I do have 98KickAssKernel.sh and 99SuperCharger.sh. Also a folder V6_SuperCharger. I do not see anything for 3G Turbo Charger though. Any Ideas?
Well I went into init.rc, and I must say I felt like I was reading a foreign alien language. Haha. Yeah I will need to wait for |Monster| to get back from hiatus.. Thank you for pointing this out though cause my scripts may not be running either..Oops I meant /data/init.rc. the auto spelling correction keeps changing init to unit. Yeah that script is run by the main script under the / root directory. Within that script at the end when you do the v6 and kak setup, it's supposed to launch the supercharger.sh and kak.sh scripts under /data. On my /data/init.rc I see the supercharge.sh being called but not the kak.sh script. These are called on bootup to apply the tweaks. For the 3g, the tweaks are done in /system/building.prop; if you open up your version there's a section near the top with the 3g tweaks inserted; this gets run as part of the main system on bootup

Just an FYI for anyone running CTMod 3.6.5, Bloodawn has already incorporated optimization scripts into the ROM. From the first post of the CTMod thread: Special CTMod init script (don't use any other optimization scripts)
Does that mean we shouldn't use the 3g boost either? Although I already used it and had no negative effects, its just hit and miss on when I seem to get a boost with it though.Yep. Blood is pretty good about tweaking CTMod before he releases it. That's one of the reason it runs so darn good from the gitgo. It's always best to ask before installing a tweak. You may end up doing more harm than good. If you do decide to go ahead and try a tweak make sure that you have a CWM backup handy. There's a good chance that you will need it.
I'm waiting on an answer back from him on that. I'll post what I find out. There's a good chance that he's already added some tweaks for 3g.

He has, I do not recommend using any of these scripts with CTMod
Now this is only for the 3g script and nothing else because that's all I asked about. Blood said that he didn't use anything on his and he doesn't know if the 3g script will work or not.
Like I mentioned earlier, if you do decide to try this or any of the scripts make SURE that you make a CWM backup FIRST. I may try the 3g tweak this evening, as for the rest of the stuff..... there is no need for it in my opinion. CTMod 3.6 runs almost perfect for me. The only thing that could use a little improvement is 3g speed. When it comes to 3g speed, there is no such thing as 2 fast. lol:aetsch:
ADDED INFO:
I do believe that I'm going to try the 3g tweak this evening or tomorrow. I'll post my results.
What about with the 3g/4g optimizer pro? or both mixed? i get crap low speeds regardless of which i use so i can't really test it.
