well for me I didn't really do anything it just popped up. but if you check some of the other threads, some people are getting it and some aren't. I think it depends on what area you're in

Have you seen anybody else with the same speeds cause I asked others and they average the same around me which is in the 180s

No, I dont have access to anyone else running metro.

One of the things im trying to do is keep an unofficial list of what areas have evdo, and what speeds they are getting.
I think they are going to systematically cap all of it, I am just lucky that they have not yet.

It is strange though there is a few guys in the orlando area with speeds like mine, and better.

U guys think deres 3G in new jersey cuz I don't want to update my prl cuz I don't feel like doing it seems to complicated

its not that complicated, but for jersey there is no point. no one has reported 3g in the ny/nj area.
