Help 3rd party insurance

Tried to find what I could elsewhere but I've resorted back to here. Curious about 3rd part insurance. Being that I'm running the GSM Nexus and running it on Straight Talk, they don't offer insurance......that I know of.

Just wandering if there was any companies out there they provide insurance and are worth dealing with. I've always got insurance through the carrier and I've found that It's saved me several times. Not having on the Gnex kinda lingers in the back of my mind everytime I pull it out of my pocket. Prolly why I haven't dropped it yet.

Any info would be great. Thanks.

Your best bet would be to claim it on homeowners insurance or just buy another phone if it breaks

Seriously? All of these 3rd party companies I've heard about working so well I figured I was missing out on something. My homeowners deductible is 2k so Im not sure that would work out too well.

I have not. I have not checked any as I've only heard rumblings about this and didn't know actual companies. You prefer one of the above?

Haven't checked into it for my GNex yet. Haven't had time. Whatever you find out please post your findings here.

Another poster said he had Insurion. You can read that post in its entirety here: http://androidforums.com/samsung-galaxy-nexus/654969-am-i-being-idiot-get-free-s3.html

I personally feel insurance is the equivalent of going to the casinos to make money. These insurance companies have done the math, much like the casinos have, and on average they somehow manage to have the nicest biggest buildings everywhere in the World. That sort of tells me something...

Yeah I understand what you mean. Thanks for the link
