Does your phone not piggyback onto Orange when the 3 signal is too weak? Mine does on rare occasions so you always have a signal.

It does but that's not good for data. It never really gets to that stage though, drops to 1 and 2 bars mainly

They do talk some dribble sometimes.. All they wanted was to get you'r phone full of 3 software...It must be that you are in a poor area for 3g..Check with there prediction software.
Us Shandy swilling southerners have no problem with coverage ..Its those hills thee knows

Yeah, it is poor. On the coverage map, I am right on the edge of where there is no indoor signal at all. Mind you up here we are still using 2 cans with a length of string inbetween to talk to each other so I am one of the lucky ones

Well, it does now appear to be a handset/radio issue. I was out with a couple of mates last night who are both on 3. They both had Nokia handsets and full signal strength while I had 2 bars
