Help 4.0.4 camera issue

i just got my OTA 4.0.4 update from verizon the other day and went to take pictures with it today, and the zero shutter speed thing is gone now. it has to auto-focus before every picture. most of the reason i got the gnex was for that feature.

is there any way i can get it back? preferably without going back to 4.0.2

Just make sure the picture is focused before you want to take the picture. You can focus by tapping where you want to focus on the screen. If it's out of focus and you take a picture, the camera will auto-focus before the picture is taken.

i think it was a "feature" they added to 4.0.4 because sooooo many people complained about getting terrible pics with the Gnex....when in reality the zero shutter was just snapping pics all "willy nilly" without focusing.

not a big deal to me, since i ALWAYS touched to focus, then tapped the button...this still gives you zero shutter lag, you just can't open up the camera and take a crappy pic within a second.

Once it has focused you can snap away repeatedly. If you move the camera to another subject it obviously has to refocus before it can shoot. It appears to work the same for me as it did before.
