Root 4.0 ics????

Ok I'm sure this question has already been answered but is there anyway to upgrade the 2.3 gingerbread to 4.0 ics because I was watching a video on the esteem and when he went into his esteem phone info it said 4.0 not 2.3.4 like mine.
 
Cm9is still a work in progress do you know when it will be released and who to donate to to help speed up the process?

can u post that video instead because its very simple to edit build prop and have it say whatever u want and have a launcher with ics theme on it to fool everyone.
 
i just searched ics on the lg esteem and got 4 pages of videos and none had ics on it cept themes
 
oh another question im on # 2 rom (2.1) and its having a problem loading up my sd card its a 16 gb but i had the same memory card in my Asend with no problems can it not handle that much memory?
 
i been hearing that the lg esteen is not able to run ics can u explain playfull is this going to be a stable rom or not what do u think about the rom on the esteem:D:D

Of course! Just build prop edit to show anyone can make it "seem" like it, and to prove the post aboves point. Shoot I can make is say dumpster but for the build number or ICECREAM SANDWICH if the guy needs more proof :-P
 
what wait thats cheating . just wait til it come out. o i would hate to see your face when they laughing at you cause they no this 4.o isn't out yet. plus we shouldnt rush pg let him put his foot in it we will love it and you know some of us will hit him off for his lovely work and others will play ,and act like this is free time . so pull a chair up and wait in line pg is bad with them hands and you will be saying ......... pg love the work

This is what ICS looks like. I believe all ICS uses kernel versions 3.x.x and above

BTW this isnt a PT-6210 which is a Galaxy Tab. Its really a Coby Kyros 7042 haha

all devices release with ICS yes have the 3.X kernel, ports on the other hand...

ICS doesnt have a kernel version requirement, but certain things have to be backported to have it work correctly.

Alot of the lesser devices everyone sees with CM9 dont have all the ICS features n functionality trust me.

I have CM9 on the Ascend 2, it runs ok, but like shyt compared to my DX lol.
