Owners of Galaxy S3 and Galaxy Note 2 will have to wait until November or December 2013 for the release of the Android 4.2.2 update, depending on the situation of Galaxy S4. SamMobile initially revealed that the update delay is due to TouchWiz issues, but there are no confirmation released.

That article claims that the delay is due in part to disappointing sales of the GS4 but other reports suggest that the S4 is selling really well.

Bears the question - why the delay, considering that there are so many leaks already ...

Exactly. There may not even be a delay until November/December seeing as though Samsung haven't said anything official about it yet.

The last thing I read on the SamMobile web site was a delay from June (when it was due to be released) going to August due to issues with TouchWiz. So I'm sticking with that story for now.
