Help 4.2.2, Sense 5.1 roll out

After playing around with the update, and not being able to see the Jelly Bean image and floating beans (I admit, a petty and trivial thing really), the only practical thing, is the 2 finger swipe to bring up the Settings, Brightness et cetera.

Overall, I'm rather disappointed and unimpressed with 4.2.2, really :-(

When will Sprint (US carriers) get the 4.2.2 update?

Sprint is likely taking their time to approve the update for their network. The update hasn't rolled out to anyone in the US as far as I know. That update you got was to fix other bugs, it wasn't supposed to get you to 4.2.2

it's out on three uk, getting it now.. first file put phone into safe mode when it restarted.. is that normal?

The 4.2.2 update included some Sense tweaks (e.g. statusbar toggles) that were being called 5.1 at the start of the thread, but HTC don't seem to have changed the Sense version number.

I am in the UK and with 3 and my One has software 1.29.401.16 with Android version 4.1.2 is this the most recent up to date software and version, I have tried updates but still the same.

If the Software Update button doesn't give you an update then 3 haven't released an update.

I just received an update for my Verizon One this noon. It took only a few minutes and the OS still says 4.2.2. The first messages during the update said that Verizon software was being updated. Then, it said that android was being updated, updating apps 1-50. Maybe that is Verizon's answer to a 4.3 update. :D

Got the Verizon update too. Still 4.2.2 and Sense 5.0, but the software number is now 1.10.605.10. No idea what it actually did, probably just updated some Verizon bloatware.

My Verizon One just got an OTA, got all excited it was 4.3, but phone still says 4.2.2 and Sense 5.0, pretty sure it said that before, what was in the update then? Anyone know?

According to a software update for the One on the Verizon site, software version 1.10.605.10 has these "key enhancements".

o Device lock-ups have been reduced
o Internet accessibility for the visually impaired is now supported
o Update to ISIS Movile Wallet

Mine just started.... I'm on Verizon (unrooted)

EDIT:
In Status, under Software Update, I'm showing
HTC6500LVW_1.10.605.10-1.10.605.8_R2
(Yes, really, that many repetitions of 10 and 605)
It also has the date of 10/01/2013 and a time of 9:12AM. So, roughly 26 hours ago (I got my phone on Day 1 of release, early in the morning, if anyone wants to try and correlate data for timing).

It still shows Android 4.2.2 and HTC Sense 5.0 however under standard software information.... so maybe Verizon just did something for their own software?
