Root 4.3 CodeFireX ROM 2013-11-24 reboots

So I found this ROM on xda here:[ROM] [JEWEL] [AOSP] [4.3] [cfX-Toolchain 4.8.y+] codefireXperiment Official Nightly - xda-developers

But when I install it I just get a reboot loop.
I get as far as selecting the language and it reboots.
I wiped from recovery.
Then I added the 5 zips to flash in this order:
full_jewel-cfxe-OPENMASTER-20131124.203447.zip
gapps-jb-20130813-signed.zip
UPDATE-SuperSU-v1.89.zip
APN Fix for CM10.2.zip
cm-10.2-Nightly-GPS-Fix.zip

Then I wiped cache and dalvik.
Then I let it reboot.

Did I do something wrong?
Anybody else get this ROM to work?

maybe hold off on the apn and gps fix as those are not in the op as far as instructions goes.

you need to also wipe system as well before flashing the rom. system is where your old rom lies and not wiping could create many issues.

So I got the rom running. It is smooth.
I did advanced wipe and wiped system as well.
And rather than queueing the zips to flash in order, I flashed them one at a time.

But as soon as a few apps have been downloaded in google play, I get force closes on google play services and google location service. Constantly. Making it unusable.
I tried force stopping and clearing their cache and data but it doesn't help.

I wish I could post in the xda-developers thread but they have a 10 post requirement there before you can post in dev threads. I also tried to login at codefirex site directly but their registration must be broken as I never got the account confirmation email.

I guess I'll just try the CM ROM.

He also posted a 4.4 rom but I don't know what gapps to use for that.

I'd give it a week or so and download the newest nightly. Nightlies have a tendency to do this once in a while since they're changing things on the regular. :)
