4.4.3

Anyone else having problems with an inconsistent power button after 4.4.3? Sometimes I have to push it 5, 6, or more times to turn off the screen. Sometimes instead of going blank it'll just go to the lock screen, with even more presses required.

Same issue with turning the screen back on. Sometime it'll work fine, sometime it'll take many button presses.

Not a physical button problem as this started happening right after the update. Phone is stock/not rooted.

This is false logic; your button fault is not a direct result of the update otherwise we would all see the same - and I certainly don't - so it must be something else that happened to occur at around the same time.

It's a bit like what happens during a power cut - anyone plugging something in at that exact moment is convinced they must be the cause of the cut but in reality the timing is just a coincidence. Coincidences are everywhere.
 
Seems resolved now...continued to mess with it, turned off the lock screen and the problem immediately went away. Turned the lock screen back on, problem immediately came back.

Also on another forum someone suggested a reboot, did that and now the problem is gone whether the lock screen is on or not. Hopefully it'll stay fixed.
