4g / 3g data outage?

I lost data connection on my thunderbolt a couple of hours ago ( live in a 3g area ) and read that there were a lot of Verizon 4g phone users nationwide without data, has anyone on here lost 4g / 3g today?

Same problem here but after playing with LTE Switch I got 3G back in a 3G only area. I had 1X most of the day in Rockford IL.

same here in akron ohio, 4g outage, 1x all afternoon, 3g after 5pm.

New LTE phones are being released.. seems to never fail when a new device comes out.. or always fail I spose..

My 3g/4g has been nearly non-existent....I was worried there was something wrong with my individual phone. I am comforted that so many others are having the same problem...

If you can't get any data signal to save your life then you may want to try switching your network selection to CDMA only. By default VZW LTE phones will use eHPRD for the 3G the problem is if LTE is down eHPRD is as well. While CDMA is slower than eHPRD it should be better than nothing.

I had 3/4g this morning, but it seems to be down to 1x for the last hour or so in Pittsburgh, PA.

Reported through the store, that there is an intermittent issue affecting some customers (not all, so they aren't calling it an "outage" per se), but that they are trying to get it all straight asap. Didn't really tell me any more than that tho

I had the same problem yesterday in Houston, TX in a 4G area. No 3G or 4G for hours. I thought it was the new ROM I had installed. Thanks for this thread.

Same here... I was out of data for a few hours yesterday. Tried going into airplane mode and back and rebooting phone. Oddly enough, my boyfriends x2 didn't lose data though

That's one thing I don't understand, 3g only devices continued to work, while 4g devices even if only on a 3g connection or switched to 3g only did not work / have a data connection, very strange
