4G data will be an extra $10 add-on

How do you feel about the Evo 4G pricing? | Android Central

says that they got clarification and that the $10 is just if you WANT 4G. (so it's optional).

If I had my own plan it wouldn't matter to me but since I'm going to be on a family plan now the extra $10 may be an issue. Not sure yet.

I would pay an additional $10 for the wifi teethering. But for $80 a month, for just the 4G and without teethering? *sigh*

And since I get a corp discount, it'll only be an extra $7.50/mo, for at least triple the bandwidth, and no data cap. Worth it.

Just talked to a sprint representative on the phone, and she said with my plan which is the Everything Data Share plan there will be NO additional charges. So I am assuming any plan with everything data will NOT have to pay the extra $10, I also asked if I will be able to use 4g and she said yes. So in summary if you have an Everything Data plan and get the Evo 4g, you can use 4g wimax and will not have to pay the extra $10.

That's why I got from the last three reps I talked to, so far I've talk to tier 2 tech support, general customer service, and retentions. All said the same. Thinking of trying ecare as well.
