Help 4G disappeared HELP PLEASE!!

Hello guys,
I'm new and well I have seen that in this forum everything gets solved. :)
I bought my phone around a month ago and I've had a great experience so far with 4G and good quality.

Three days ago I started noticing that the 4G disappeared and since then I have been getting only EV. I have been looking online and I saw that people have this issue with new phones because of SIM activation, but in my case I have had 4G and it just stopped appearing. I am really frustrated because I can't understand why and/or how to fix it. I would really appreciate some help, thank you guys!
 
You may have just gone out of the 4G area... Could you elaborate more on when/where it happens?

Yes, well you see Southern California, LA area. At home, I always have full 4G in fact there's an antenna right in the corner. On Tuesday, I used the 4G hot spot app and then after I was done tethering my phone's battery died. After I charged it and turned it back on, there was no 4g, I didn't worry about it because it was something temporary I thought, but know 4 days after I haven't received any 4G, in my school area I usually get 4G too, but nothing, all I get is EV. At some point today I got 1x for like 1 minute and then it went back to EV... I hope this helps
 
Im having the same problem after having the phone for a month also. I called customer support and they tried there best to help my, i also talked to there supervisor and no luck. So i took it to my metro dealer and evenone at there store had the same problem thatbi was having, so he told me to comeback in or call tomorrow to find out whats going on.
 
Maybe the towers are updating or working on them? Could be a possibility. Try and disk *228 and select 5 to update to the new prl incase you aren't up to date. :thumbup:
 
I'm in philly and quite literally, everyone I know lost 4g at the same time. 4g has been off since 2 in the afternoon yesterday. I've tried every method that had been named including hard resetting my phone to see if an app did it.

All I do know is that we're having weather issues here "hurricane" and metros 4g towers are only a couple of feet tall.

I'm right out side philly (5min drive)An my 4g works So I don't think towers Are down.
 
Certain towers may be down. Only way to tell would be to go outside your local area to see if 4G works from different towers, then you know its their towers and not your phone.

hey guys, thank you very much. i went to the hidden menu, when i put LTE only i lost all the signal then i went back to the default setting which was EVdo/LTE auto. i problem wasn't solved so i kept wandering around the hidden menu.. after i clicked on something the signal was killed.. i thought i had ruined the phone so i turned it off then turned it back on and My 4G was back. thank you very much, i really appreciate the help.

My 4g came back on about 15 minutes before your post, but I think it was the towers. Everyone I know with a 4g handset lost 4g at pretty Mich the same time, my friend and I both got our 4g turned back on at the same time too
 
This happened to me a few hours ago. I've tried everything above with no success. I know it's working in my area because my girlfriend has the same phone/plan and hers is working fine. Is it possible this is what Metro does when they throttle you? I went a but crazy in the app store and have pushed my data up to about 10 gigs within in a two week period. I'm calling customer service tomorrow if it doesn't resolve itself.

sometimes service sucks and things don't always get solved . that's the answer. sometime things suck. like the fact im about to get hit by a huricane. no bull a huricane is going to hit my town . im guessing 4g will be out. why. because we are getting hit by a huricane so sorry if you are not getting 4g
 
Don't mistake our mutterings of this inconvenience as a sign of ignorance. Good luck. Come to find out, the 4G is in fact out in my area so please disregard my previous post.
