Root 4g speed increase help

I've recently learned on a HTC evo you can get 20% to 30% speed increase by dialing ##3282# and by pretty my changing the proxy settings to 0. Well I guess my question is how do we access this menu to try these same tweaks

Yes I have 4g but im trying to get better speeds cause my dl rate is barely 1mbps and I found it through google

I already have any cut I use it if I lose 4g I use it but I don't know of any other used for it

crap lol, i bought the damn thing off this guy and the 4g was working with his plan, i had to wait 30 days before activating with new account.... the chip that came with it is still inside and the only thing i did prior to activating it is root, attempt an un-root got stuck in recovery loop then fixed it so never tried un rooting again lol(i then learned the only way to unroot is to update through the lg thing..) but i have not tried updating it yet...

today i went to store and activated it and everything works except 4g.. even on stock rom

do you think maybe an update to zvc could fix this?

I had that same problem as while and what I did was used anycut and went to the first network settings in activities. Then open the shortcut and you will see three different data settings check the last one and reboot

This restored 4g for you then

What prl is your phone running? You might need to update it. If the prl is not 3026 then dial *228 option 5.

i just went and checked that but the last one is already selected... it said like lte & cdma hybrid or something right? lol so i went ahead and chose lte only than it asked if i wanted auto or manual, so i selected manual thinking it would let me choose something lol but it just rebooted on me and now i have the circle with cross through it instead of any service at all... i will try to update to zvc...

Try using them both that I have in that screen shot first the network thing check it and then go to lte and select the first one and it will reboot

k trying now will post results..

i can already tell this wont work... its giving me nothing when i try 4g only... i just get the no smoking sign lol

i have a question... i noticed on the rooting guides it says to make sure 4g is enabled... why does it say this? maybe because i rooted it with no service you think it could be a problem..?

This may be the same thing as AnyCut, but did you try the LTE On/Off app? It should be set to "CDMA/LTE Auto" or something like that. You have to reboot to make it stick.
