Root 4g speed increase help

wow im in miami and i get upload around 3.2 and download i get 2.5 sometimes but is there away to do what htc did cause what i saw was amazing and id love for my phone to be that fast

Well I get 3 up but can't pass 1 down

my connection is miserably slow. Averaged 0.3 mbps down and almost 1 up for the past couple of weeks in Homestead, Florida. I used to get at peak around 1.5 mbps down, but since a couple weeks ago metro has throttled speeds down severly where I live.

Does anyone know how to get to these settings on the esteem
Advanced->RTSP/HTTP Setting.

Then set RTSP proxy IP to 0.0.0.0.

and set RTSP proxy port to 0.

and set HTTP proxy IP to 0.0.0.0.

and set HTTP proxy port to 0.

Anything even close to that is in the lg hidden menu under browser
Settings-LG just missing the RTSP proxy port/IP in anycut app.

I do not..a lot of additional settings to "play" within ZVD:thumbup:

Uhuh..does it show an increase say after running a speed test
Was thinking bout using anycut to mebe change Apns to Verizon (metro piggyback)..if they would stick

We need to talk about this biggie.will bee home around 7:30 so possibly able too work things out that way.this would ONLY work when connected to a Verizon tower theoretically though

You are not going to increase 4G speeds by editing anything on the phone, you will however break stuff.

Didnt break anything on my phone... it actually worked on my indulge and esteem.. do a back up n try it.. it gives a bit of a kick.

I used the optimizer and it actually plummeted my speed and at times to pause it in the process of doing something. Which got annoying REAL quick. Then the 4g speeds dropped overall, went through anycut and changed some settings around and now my speed is back up to what it was when i first got it. Around 2mbps so im happy now.

As for the breaking stuff..hmm its what I do..only way to find a fix
