is the battery drain normal for the galaxy nexus??
Welcome to Android. Battery life is never as good as you will want.
However one other thing to remember is the AMOLED screen uses much more power for bright/white pixels and zero power for black. So use dark backgrounds and colors more than a white background.
Try using Google Black (Black Google Mobile - Battery Saving Search). If you read a lot, set the reading App to white text on black.
Not necessary, but it does make a difference.
. lol. is the battery drain normal for the galaxy nexus??

You may have an issue with your battery settings. Try clearing your battery setting memory next time you have a full charge.

how do you even wipe the battery stats? i'm new to ICS (and been away from android a while... since nexus one)
Just FYI, a Google Engineer said you shouldn't really ever need to do this: Wiping battery stats doesn't improve battery life, says Google engineer | Android Central
Just a heads up - it may help, it may not.
You have to be rooted to do so and would do it through recovery or through an app (BatteryCalibration).
Can't do it without root AFAIK.

As stated above, wiping the the battery will not "improve battery life." The purpose of wiping would be to "recalibrate the battery drain rate" not improve the battery life, as your prior post implied I was suggesting. Wiping would most likely correct the false, or rather inflated, "5%" in ten minutes to represent actual drain rate of maybe two or three percent.

Actually, from his linked article.
"It has no impact on the current battery level shown to you."
