Root .596 roms?

So im running .596 deodoxed stock. I saw apex 2.0 Beta 2 rom was avaiable, but has some issues. Any good roms out there yet for .596?

On froyo i used liberty for 2 days ans HATED it, are they worth the upgrade. And will i get FC 's if i just flash back to my. 596 backup if i dont like a custom rom? I read somewhere that it was an issue?
 
FC's ARE indeed an issue is you restore from another rom. If you have that problem, simply flashe bouchigo's 596 deodexer found here, and it will fix you right up. Problems have been with the framework file because of framework mods. This will take them away, but you can always reflash them (crt, 270, etc).

Regarding new mods, 596 is very, very new, so we don't have many. www.drewgaren.com has some and apex is in beta, now, that's another. It's all a matter of taste. Me? Me? Prolly not gonna do it, I love the new gingerblur.
 
Apex is now on RC1, beta 2 had some MMS problems but a lot of it has been fixed...

But it's still a work in progress... I just downloaded it, hopefully I will have time to flash it soon.

You just downloaded Beta 2?? If so, let me know whay you think of it and if you plan on keeping it.
 
I'm just waiting for a ROM that remove the really unneeded bloat, such as madden an nfs. That's all I really need is to get rid of the stuff I will NEVER use, and keep the functional stuff I might use. There is a ton of room on te device, but I don't want stuff cluttering it up.
