6 hour battery life

Amazing how people whine about battery in devices with huge screens and LTE obviously battery isn't going to be great . I have a thunderbolt and I get 10hrs easy out of it and I use it pretty heavy the trick . I live in Denver (great LTE service) so I have it set to LTE only , I also have it set to connect to wifi while I"m at work for 6-8hrs a day. I also have juice defender installed and that honestly probably helps battery life about 20-30% it pretty much kills data while the phone is in your pocket but ever 5 minutes or so connects to poll and download anything. Yeah I might get that FB notification or Email 5 minutes later but I don't know the diffrence when the phone is in my pocket. I also have my device overclocked to 1.7ghz
I have gotten 30hrs out of my TB on strictly wifi and 3g before also. But a normal day 8am to 6pm I've rarely had an issue . I bought my TB on release day and have only killed the battery twice .

I'm stoked for the Prime even if the battery life is the same as the Tbolt but I can almost guarantee it's going to be better

I'm glad my "whining" about sub-par battery life is "amazing" to you. That's what this thread was started for. After all, why should we desire better battery life...what was I thinking? Thank you for your enriching contribution.

Some of your are going to wear yourselves out before the actual device is released to test out.

Battery use from one person to the next is subjective enough without guessing on a device not out yet.

Maybe that is why there ain't no microsd, so they can conserve power..... Well, that makes as much sense as anything else in guessingland ;)

It is all good for me. If a microsd, I will get this. If not, I will wait until next year for the 28nm LTE chips and more common (by then) IPS displays :)

Understood. I just get tired of the bullying. Battery life is a valid concern...I don't get why it bothers people to discuss it. Then ridicule someone in a thread with battery life in the title.

If I were smart...and patient...I'd take your lead and wait for the new LTE chip myself. I'm keeping a close eye on this and RAZR for user feedback on battery life. (That comment might "amaze" some)

Unfortunately for you, if the rumors are true, manageable battery life may be more of a reality than micro-sd. I hope we're both pleasantly surprised.

Seems a given the Nexus does not have a microsd. Seriously, were it not for the game emulators, I would just buy a 64gb iPhone, if the trend is no microsd and the lame a$$ fixed nav bar.

If so, Android can bite a big apple.
