When I got my Hero a week ago, even though I signed a new 2 yr contract, they wouldnt give me the $99 price because I was ADDING A LINE to an existing account. (Yet still signing a NEW two year contract on this line alone.) Do you know if they would honor the $69 price for an add-a-line?

I pray this is not just a one day only deal. Tomorrow is my 30th day and I don't have my receipt with me and wouldn't be able to make it to Best Buy till tomorrow.

I'd say you could get the price on an existing account.

i added a second line to my account last wed the day before thanks giving. they had the moment for 189 and i told them that their website had the moment for 99.99 and i showed them on my phone. they honered the price and gave me the moment for 99.99 because it was on their website wireless.bestbuy.com . now im gunna go back and try to my price match today for the 69.99 price.
i got my hero from sprint store the 29th last month. hopefully i can get a a price match ....

That applies to the Moment.
If you click on the Hero, and then click on the link that says get this phone with a contract extension, the price still stays $69.99.
I had purchased a new line with a Hero for my son, and got it at the $99 price. I have been wanting a Hero myself, but my desire to "get a deal" wouldn't let me do it at the full price.
I saw this yesterday and went to the local Best Buy. They have me $30 back on the phone I got for $99 and gave me $30 off the $179 price with no questions asked! That made three Heroes for us at an average of about $116. Not bad, in my book.
Of course, I'll keep an eye open for any other discounts through the holidays to see if I can put any more money back in my pockets!

that price is with a new contract or if you add a new line in your account. if you bought the phone from bestbuy. take ur reciept and say, "your website states the moment for 69.99 , will you honor the price, here is my reciept" . im going to the store in a few hours and try to say that. if they dont believe me ill show them it on my phone.
