Root 720p?

I have the mikg 2.45 ROM and Goldenmonkey 1.1 before i flashed new ROM i noticed i could set my display to 720p.... now i do not see that option.. in quadrant/system info it says my display is 480x800 does anyone know if this ROM supports 720p or how i can switch it to that?
 
i just noticed this in mik3d. not sure what that is all about. i do not use video very much. i did not see anything mentioning it though over on mik's website.

ok well im gonna keep looking around, if you find anything out please let me know, thanks alot
 
That's weird when I go to my camcorder and press menu I can change mine to 1280 by 720 which is 720p and I'm also on mikG with golden monkey
 
Either way, it doesnt matter, the evo lcd has a set resolution of 800x480. Even if a rom could output 720p to the lcd, it wouldnt display it.

I think what they are getting at though is that it might not be recording at 720p for hdmi playback.
