Root .902 Root Method!

Just updated to .902. Lost root, obviously. Tried Pete's One Click Root and it wouldn't work. Tried a couple other hacks from posts here and other forums. This one worked first time. Took about 5 minutes total with this one. Thanks for the post!!!

Forgot to mention I have a Droid Bionic, not a Droid 4.

Yeah, never use Pete's. It was for old 5.5.886, but the simple permissions exploit it use was fixed in every later version.

My production Bionic is not root-ed, my test Droid X is root-ed, so I could not test this.

This new technique for root-ing 5.9.902 seems great.

Is there a method to un-root after it is used so the Bionic can meet some imposed restrictions (like soak test participation)?

Are restrictions from some vendors still in place (like movie rentals) when this method of root-ing is used?

I have read that Pete's root tools work to unroot after using this exploit in .902, but I have not confirmed this personally.

As far as I know the Google Market video restriction is still in place. It doesn't really bother me because I use Netflix.
