Asphalt? I think that's some game by gameloft or something?

Yes its a game from gameloft.

But is it ok to have a folder by the name Android in /mnt/sdcard ?

what is the size of that folder in ur phone ?

Thanks in advance

that is the extra files downloaded by some apps. delete if you like but next time you play you will have to download the extra files again.

is it ok to have a folder by the name Android in /mnt/sdcard ?

Yes, because /Android/data can contain local data for many apps, including Google's own (Books, Earth, Maps, Music,Video etc). The com.cooliris.media folder contains thumbnails and image cache files for the Gallery and Video apps, Picassa albums sync'd to your Google account and AllShare content.
