Root A couple questions

Honestly, I wouldn't mind downloading every rom and finding out on my own, but my internet speed had been terrible lately, and I get impatient.

Anyways, I'm looking for two things, they don't have to be in the same rom.
First, I want a rom with the moto blur sliders, I can't seen to find one even though I've been searching for a while.
Second, I want a good gaming rom. More precisely, one that can run n64oid without to much lag or sound issues. I doubt CPU speed matters much, and I can overclock, so it must be a lack of available ram that causes the problem. So, which rom uses the least ram on a fresh install?
 
you would need to try the blur featured roms, such as apex, liberty, ssx, etc, etc, all of them are good for gaming. just got to find one with the exact sliders you want
 
what exactly do you mean by sliders? like the lockscreen sliders? if thats what is your biggest gripe then an app like Widgetlocker, or MiLocker would be something to look into...
 
I mean the stock lockscreen on Droid X. From what I've seen, all the custom roms use aosp sliders, but I like the blur ones. Does apex or liberty have an option to use the blur lockscreen?
 
Yes, Liberty has the Moto lock screen style...but I'd still suggest an app like WidgetLocker or MiLocker...there are so many things you can do with your lockscreens
 
I don't like the third party apps. They work good, but apps like dolphin browser reload my tabs when I unlock, I'm guessing because dolphin doesn't realize that the app was meant to be a lockscreen. I need the pages to not reload, my internet is very slow.
Besides that, I love the third party lockscreens

It also interferes with go books, another app I use often

have you tried MiLocker? its fairly new...
 
Milocker is good also, I'm a big fan of Go apps. But do you need to use go launcher with go locker? I'm using iida right now and don't want to switch from it
 
Eh, maybe later then. I'm probably switching from CM7 to liberty later tonight, maybe go locker or widget locker later.
