Hoping someone can help me...
I noticed one of my little sisters changed her profile pic on FB, however it does not reflect in my "Favorites" widget or any of her contact info. I normally keep background sync/data turned off, and additionally run juice defender which I think may limit data transmission even if background sync is turned on (if under a certain bit rate), but have tried disabling juice defender, enabling background data, manually syncing facebook, unlinking and relinking her contact info from her facebook page, etc, and nothing will work. If I go to the FB app and go to her page, I see her new default pic (display pic, whatever you call it) but nothing I do will get this pic to appear as her pic in my contacts, and subsequently, on her entry in my "favorites" widget. Any help?
Also, I am having the same trouble with my own pic. I updated my default pic this morning on FB, but when I am texting people, I still see my old pic (will not update). When I go into my contact card, the only info there is my birthday, and when I try to edit, its a different interface (pop-up to select "label", etc).
This is really, really pissing me off...anyone have any ideas here?
Oh, and one other contact-related question...does "website" in a persons contact, not serve any purpose but to actually display the URL? My girlfriend's blog (Lily Press ? A Girl & Her Charm City Zoo) is in her contact info when I go into it, but it is not "clickable" (poke-able?). I am going to try putting in the "http://" but does anyone know if this is even a function at all? Seems kind of a shame and under-utilization of this phones capabilities if you can STORE a persons URL but can't then click to it from their contact info.
Real irritated right now by seemingly small, simple things...any and all help would be hugely appreciated.
