Actually, this isn't so crazy a comment. Boost has the Prevail as an alternative option, which has a pretty solid community backing it already.

But here on Sprint, most of the alternatives are 4G-only. Yes, Sprint started charging the extra $10 for all smartphones (4G or 3G) so this phone didn't matter to most Sprint users (part of why our community didn't really get off the ground when it was released first on Sprint). However, some of us are on older 3G only plans (SERO, anyone?), and coming from the Optimus S, there isn't much else to compare the marquee phone to.

That being said, the boost users clearly outnumber Sprint on this forum. But the Sprint users might need it more... ;)

DUDE ! I thought you had a Marquee . Didn't you say that you had bought one while you were in the Prevail section and that's the reason why you moved to the Marquee forum ? Hmmm . I'm just curious as to what phone you do have . Just sayin' .:rolleyes:

You may want to review your own posts, because you certainly make it sound like you have one. Posting irrelevant root guides, posting that you are building a new rom (for the Marquee), going to buy Hroark a Marquee, and asking an avalanche of questions pertaining to the Marquee and multiple others, (you even told me that you would see me in the Marquee forums when you got one...) Well I see you that you are here, but now I have no idea what phone you have or your capabilities. Makes me quite wary when regarding some of your posts.

Don't get me wrong, some of your advice to others has been adequate, but if you want to instill some confidence in your abilities to others in the community, you may want to clarify some of the things in your posts.

I wish you nothing but luck thomasmbl, and I understand that you are trying to help, but please be careful on what you post, so as not to lead others down the wrong path and possibly bricking their phones, or giving false hope (non-existent roms) to others who actually have the phone.
