A little help please?

I have the galaxy s2 from boost mobile. I have it rooted and running the stock rom it came with. I am currently getting an update message over and over asking me if I want to install an update.

Is it ok for me to install this update even though I am rooted?

The update won't install properly since you are rooted. If you are on FI22 it will be the update to FL24. You have a couple of choices. You can install FL24 (there is a rooted version available), or you can get an app like autostarts to disable the start up of the Google framework that checks for updates and use a root explorer to go into the /cache folder and delete the update file.

SuSuper user have an option to keep root for OTA updates but like code said I think you may break something lol.

Won't break something. It just will not finish the install. It will give error code in the middle of the update the same as it would trying to flash a rom through the stock recovery. Judging by how codegerm said it I think hes tried it before too.

Where can I get this?

P.S. Love All of you people here especially Codegerm. After paying way to much for this phone I prefer to do things my way not Boosts way :) and without root I could not do this. So All Love to You and XDA. :D
