Root A question about Apps on SDcard (Icarus 1.1)

OK so I have Icarus 1.1 and I know it automatically moves apps to my SDcard if that is possible (i.e., the app has to allow for it).

My internal memory though it getting a bit "low" and I guess it is due to my having some apps installed that cannot be moved.

Problem is my phone is running REALLY slow ... like really really really slow. I don't know why but I'm hoping if I free up some internal space that will speed things up.

So the question is ... how can I "easily" find out which apps that I have installed that are on the internal memory. I plan on deleting as many of those as I can (anything I consider non-essential).
 
Icarus 1.1 already automatically moves the apps but I know some haven't been moved because they cannot be moved.

That's fine. That's how it works.

My question is how do I determine which apps haven't been moved. I want to know because my internal memory is getting low and I want to delete some.

So my line of thinking here is this: Determine which apps I have installed that are installed on the internal memory then delete those that I deem to be "junk" or "not needed" etc.
 
The a2sd that comes with Icarus moves ALL of your apps. It isn't like Froyo's Apps2sd. You may have to manually start it though, I had to. Read the A2SD confusion thread. Everything is covered there including moving your Dalvik cache which frees up more memory.
 
Oh I thought a2sd (on Icarus 1.1 mod) only moved the apps that could be moved (but did so automatically).

I was under the impression that Froyo's Apps2sd did the same but NOT automatically.

In other words I thought either way there were apps that could NOT be moved.

All I know is I have a ton of apps on my phone. Much more than I ever could have when I was running the "stock" cricKet Android 2.1

However my internal memory seems to be "low"

Right now I only have about 30MB free (generally speaking).

The phone has been lagging a lot and it seems to have gotten worse over time. At first Icarus 1.1 was fast but now it is not.

I'm thinking it's because too many apps are on the internal memory and I don't have enough free internal memory.

Perhaps I'm all wrong about this?

However I know a2sd must be working (at least to some extent) because again I have a TON of apps and I never could have this many before (when running stock).

I dunno what to do but the lag and slowness is starting to make my phone almost unusable at times :(
 
If you can live without Gmaps and MMS I'd flash to CM7..the apps2sd is smooth and comprehensive.

If you wanna stick with Icarus do what Anduiril said and look for the thread "A2sd Confusion"...everything is covered in there.

Its kind of tricky at first but youll get it.

Okay. Here is something else to look at. How big is your sd card? And when when you switched to Icarus, how big did you make your Ext2 partition? If you used the recommended 256k (I used 1G, but I have an 8G card) you may have filed it up and it is putting apps back on your internal. Open Titanium Backup and look at the bottom of the screen. It will tell you how much is used. If you still have space in your Ext2 partition then try running the reinstall command in terminal emulator, it's in the thread I mentioned earlier. I'm using the phone app right now and can't look up the exact command line.
 
Titanium Backup (Paid Version)

Internal = 198 MB (31.5MB free)
SD Card = 13.9GB (7.92GB free)
SD Card (a2sd) = 1.91GB (1.71GB free)

As you can see there is a lot of room on the a2sd partition.

My card is a 16GB micro SDHC card (Kingston - Class 4)
